This 6 day Level 2 Certificate in Door Supervision course in Rochester, Medway, Kent, meets the new (2021) requirements of the SIA for Door supervisor licensing purposes.

Content:

The new 2021 DS course consists of 4 Units:

Unit 1: Working in the Private Security Industry; em>
Unit 2: Working as a Door Supervisor
Unit 3: Communication and Conflict Management
Unit 4: Physical Intervention

Student Requirements:

The new SIA criteria requires all students to have a good command of the English language as it is likely that they will be required to resolve conflict or contact the emergency services in the course of their work.

As a guide, candidates should have learning skills to the equivalent of the following:

A B1 Level qualification on the Home Office’s list of recognised English tests and qualifications
An ESOL qualification at level 1 (Ofqual) if taken in England or SCQCF level 5 or 6 if taken in Scotland
Functional Skills level 1 in English
SQA Core Skills at SCQF level 5 or 6
Please note: If you are unable to produce any of the above, you may be required to sit an English assessment prior to the course starting. Please contact us before booking.

You will also be required to supply One Passport size photograph on day one of the course

First Aid:

In addition to the above, all SIA Door Supervisors are now required to have a valid Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate or equivalent PRIOR to attending Door Supervisor training. If you need First Aid training, then please click here to book your 7 day DS course and save £40 compared to booking the EFAW course individually.

Certification:

The course is recognised by the SIA, successful completion of all 4 units and associated exams (Practical and Theory) leads to a Level 2 Award in Door Supervision and the new Physical Intervention Award as required by the new (2021) SIA licensing requirements

Cost:

£350 inc VAT.
The course cost includes a free re-sit for any exams failed.

In line with our terms and conditions if you cancel your course, the following charges apply: Less than 7 days notice = 100% of course price. 8 – 21 days notice = 50% of course price. Over 22 days notice = No cancellation fee
